WHAT A LUCKY DAY

It was UN day.

It was a wild celebration in Maria Regina School, a Catholic school in Semarang.

Half my class was not ready for the presentations we were going to show. We represented MEXICO! Yes, we were prepared, however, we did not think we were GOING TO PERFORM well. We thought we would exceed expectations at all. However. Things were turning AROUND.

We performed the MEXICAN HAT DANCE, what we thought was too simple and horrible, and we won the DANCE COMPETITION.

We did quite well in  THE UN QUIZ thanks to our class world expert - Bernard Julianto.

Teachers complimented our COSTUMES and CREATIVITY. They also complimented our Mexico mascot - Logan Phoa, for having such an energy during our presentation.

Did I say that it was also LITERATURE DAY?

We prepared a drama named BAWANG MERAH BAWANG PUTIH. Surely we thought we would embarrass our name of our class, but we actually won for BEST PLAY! Even though my friend Darlene Zhang and I can't stop laughing for our part.

We went back to class at the end of the day bringing two trophies and a bag full of chocolate bars.

What a day. We did not expect anything like that.
